SEO

SEO judged on enquiries, not rankings.

Rankings are not the product. Enquiries are. We fix what is stopping Google from trusting the site, build pages around the searches that actually end in a sale, and report the one line that matters: how many enquiries arrived without a rupee of ad spend behind them.

Where SEO budgets usually disappear.

SEO is the easiest service in this industry to bill for and never deliver, because the reporting can look busy while nothing moves. These are the four places the money goes.

1Ranking for words nobody buys on

Position one for a phrase with no purchase intent is a vanity screenshot. The keyword that brings ten visitors and two enquiries beats the one that brings a thousand readers and none, and only one of them ever reaches a report.

2Traffic reported instead of enquiries

Sessions up 40% is not a result, it is a number that went up. If nobody has connected organic sessions to the forms and calls they produced, the report cannot tell you whether the work paid for itself.

3Content published on a schedule, never updated

Four blog posts a month because the retainer says four blog posts a month. Meanwhile the three pages that actually rank have not been touched in two years, and their positions are quietly sliding.

4Technical debt nobody owns

A slow template, pages Google never indexed, duplicate titles across a hundred URLs. It is unglamorous and it is usually the single biggest lever, which is exactly why it gets skipped in favour of something that photographs better in a report.

All four produce a busy-looking monthly report. That is the whole problem — SEO can be billed for years without anyone being able to say what it earned, because the number that would settle it was never wired up in the first place.

What we actually do every month.

No retainer that quietly turns into a monthly report. This is the work, and you see the output of each part.

  • Keyword work that starts at the sale

We map what people type just before they buy, not what has the biggest search volume. A page targeting the second list is easier to rank and worth nothing.

  • Technical fixes before anything is written

Speed, crawlability, indexing, duplicate titles, broken internal links. Publishing onto a site Google cannot read properly is paying twice for the same page.

  • Money pages first, blog second

Service and location pages are what convert. They get built and improved before a single article goes out, because an article that ranks still has to hand the reader somewhere to buy.

  • Existing pages improved, not just new ones

The pages already ranking on page two are the cheapest wins on the site. Most agencies ignore them because a rewrite is harder to put on an invoice than a new post.

  • Google Business Profile and local signals

For anyone with a location, Maps is often more of the enquiries than the website. Listing, categories, review flow and local pages handled together, not as an afterthought.

  • Organic tracked to enquiries, not sessions

Goals wired in GA4 and Search Console reconciled, so every month can answer how many enquiries organic produced — the number that decides whether any of this was worth it.

  • One number, one report, one call

Enquiries from organic, month on month, plus the rankings and the work behind them. Not a forty-tab keyword export.

What twelve months of SEO should actually move.

Rankings are the mechanism, not the outcome, so this is not a list of positions. It is the shape of the change we build towards over a year on a local services site: what each number was when we picked it up, and what it has to become before the work has paid for itself. Illustrative figures, not a client campaign. On the audit call you get your own numbers instead.

Illustrative model, not a client campaign. The one campaign on this site we can show end to end — real spend, real admissions, measured on the client's own records — is on the Meta Ads page.

Twelve months is the honest window. Anything meaningful inside three is either a technical fix that was holding the whole site back, or it was not really organic.

We keep client names private. On a call we will open a live Search Console and walk you through it, including the months that went sideways.

How a site starts earning its own traffic.

The same four steps on a ten-page site and on a thousand-page one. The order is what most retainers get wrong, not the work itself.

  1. Audit the site and the demand

What Google can crawl, what it has indexed, what the site already half-ranks for, and which searches in your category end in money. You get the findings whether or not you hire us.

  2. Fix the foundation

Speed, indexing, structure, internal links and the tracking that will later prove any of this worked. Unglamorous, usually the biggest single lever, and always before new content.

  3. Build the pages that sell

Service and location pages first, then the articles that feed them. Every page written for one search and one next step, not for a word count.

  4. Improve what is already close

Page-two rankings are the cheapest traffic on the internet. We work those before chasing anything new, and keep working them — rankings that are not maintained slide back.

Questions we get asked first.

If yours is not here, ask it on the audit call. We would rather answer it before you sign than after.

How long before SEO actually does anything?

Movement in Search Console usually from month three, meaningful enquiry volume from month six to twelve, and it compounds after that. If something jumps in month one it is almost always a technical fix that was holding the whole site back — worth having, but not the SEO working yet. We would rather say that up front than let you judge month two as a failure.

Is SEO still worth it now that Google answers things itself?

For informational searches, honestly, less than it was — those clicks are going to the answer box and to AI summaries. For commercial searches, the ones where somebody is choosing who to hire or buy from, people still click, compare and read. That is exactly where we point the work, and it is why the reporting here is enquiries rather than traffic.

Do you buy links?

No. Bought link networks are the fastest way to a manual action, and cleaning one up costs more than the rankings were worth. We earn links through digital PR, listings, partners and content people have a reason to cite. It is slower, and it does not get taken away.

Am I locked into a contract?

Thirty days notice, either side — though we will say plainly that SEO judged at month two is not a fair test of SEO. Everything we build stays on your site and keeps working whether we are involved or not, which is the opposite of ads.

Who owns the content and the data?

You do. Pages, content, keyword maps, briefs and the audit itself, plus your own Search Console and Analytics properties. Nothing sits inside a tool of ours that switches off when the invoices stop.

OverseasHow much of the working day do we actually overlap?

We are in Delhi, on IST. That is roughly four hours of live overlap with the UK and most of the working day with the UAE. For the US and Canada we take early-morning IST calls, which lands in your afternoon or evening. Day to day, most things move over email, Slack and a weekly Loom walkthrough of the account, so nothing waits for a call.

OverseasHow often will I actually hear from you?

A written update once a week, a recorded walkthrough of Search Console once a week, and one call a month with a founder. If something breaks or a test wins big, you hear about it the same day.

OverseasHow do I pay from outside India?

Wise, Payoneer or a direct bank transfer, whichever is cheapest for you. Invoices are raised in your own currency so there are no surprise conversion gaps. SEO has no media spend to keep separate — you are paying for the work and nothing else passes through us.

OverseasWill you sign an NDA?

Yes, and we will sign it before the audit rather than after, so you can share real numbers in the first conversation. Send yours or use ours.

What SEO cannot do on its own.

SEO is very good at exactly one job: making the same searches arrive for free, month after month, once the work is done. Everything below is a job it cannot do — and the first one is the reason nobody should start with SEO alone.

SEO pays nothing for the first six months. Google Ads

The searches you are working towards are being bought by somebody today. Ads put you on them this week and, more usefully, tell you within a month which keywords actually produce customers — so the SEO gets pointed at the right words instead of a guess.

Judged by cost per qualified lead →
You cannot rank for demand that does not exist. Meta Ads

If nobody is searching for what you sell, there is no traffic to win and no amount of content invents it. Social is where that demand gets created — and the brand searches it produces are the easiest rankings you will ever have.

Judged by return on ad spend →
Rankings deliver a visitor, not an enquiry. Websites

Organic traffic arrives further from buying than a click on an ad does. A page that ranks and then gives the reader nothing obvious to do converts worse than paid traffic and makes the whole channel look weak in the report.

Judged by conversion rate →
Ten blue links look identical. Creative design

Being on the page is table stakes; being the one clicked is a different problem. Titles, imagery, the look of the page they land on — that is what decides which of the ten results gets the visit.

Judged by click rate →
Reviews and profiles are half of local ranking. Social media

For anything local, Maps sends more enquiries than the website does, and it reads your reviews, your posting activity and your profile to decide who to show. A dormant presence caps what the SEO can reach.

Judged by social enquiries →
Almost nobody needs all five. Not sure which one you are missing?

The audit answers this with your own site and your own search data instead of a guess. Most sites we look at are missing one, sometimes two. We will tell you which — and say so if the honest answer is that SEO is not your bottleneck at all.
