This page describes exactly what DigitalPlix collects through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read rather than survived, and it describes what this site actually does — not a generic list of things a website might do.
Who we are
DigitalPlix is a digital marketing agency at 631A, Sri Nagar, Gali No 2, Delhi – 110034, India. For anything on this page, write to hello@digitalplix.com or call +91 88028 23605. We are the data fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the data controller under the UK and EU GDPR for visitors in those regions.
What we collect, and only when you give it
This site has no analytics, no advertising pixel and no tracking script of any kind. We do not know who you are until you tell us. There are exactly three ways you can:
- The enquiry form. Your name, business name, the service you are interested in, your mobile number and your email address. Nothing on that form is optional-but-hidden: what you see is what we get.
- Email verification. If you use the “Send OTP” button, we send a one-time code to your address to confirm it reaches you. The code is held on our server only long enough to check it, then discarded.
- The newsletter field. Your email address, and nothing else.
What happens when you press submit
Your answers are sent to our own server, which emails them to us and nowhere else. They are not posted to a third-party form service, not pushed into an advertising platform, and not passed through a messaging app. If you would rather not use the form at all, email info.digitalclickindia@gmail.com or call us — the details are on the contact page.
If you book a call instead of filling the form, that booking is handled by Cal.com, which receives your name, email and answers to the booking questions in order to create the meeting and send the invitation. The meeting itself is on Google Meet.
Why we hold it
To reply to your enquiry, to prepare the free audit you asked for, and — if you become a client — to do the work and invoice for it. We do not sell your details, we do not rent them, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you enquired. The newsletter is a separate, deliberate action.
Where the UK or EU GDPR applies, our lawful basis is your consent for the newsletter, and legitimate interests (answering a business enquiry you started) for everything else. You can withdraw either at any time.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become work: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Client records: for the life of the engagement, plus the period Indian tax and accounting law requires us to keep invoices and contracts.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe, which is one click in any email we send.
- OTP codes: minutes, not days.
Who else can see it
- Our hosting provider, which stores the site and sends the verification email.
- Cal.com and Google, if you book a call — for the scheduling and the Meet link.
- Our email provider, to receive and reply to you.
- Payment and invoicing services, for clients only — a bank, and Wise or Payoneer for clients outside India.
If you become a client and we run advertising for you, we work inside your Google and Meta accounts rather than reselling through ours. Your advertising data stays with you.
Cookies, and what this site stores on your device
This site sets no cookies and runs no tracking. It stores one thing locally in your browser: dp-currency, which remembers whether you chose INR, USD, GBP, AED or CAD so prices do not reset on the next page. It never leaves your device, identifies nothing about you, and clearing your browser data removes it.
Third parties your browser contacts
Loading this site makes your browser fetch files from a few other servers, which means those servers see your IP address and basic request information. We cannot link that to you, but you should know it happens: Google Fonts (the typefaces), jsDelivr (icons and the 3D library behind the visuals) and Unsplash (some photographs).
Where your data goes
We are in India, so if you contact us from the UK, the EU, the US, Canada or the UAE, your details are transferred to and processed in India. India has no UK or EU adequacy decision, so for visitors covered by GDPR we rely on your explicit consent to that transfer, given when you send the enquiry. If you would prefer not to transfer data to India, please do not use the form — and tell us, because it is a reasonable position and we would rather know.
What you can ask us to do
Wherever you are, you can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, stop using it, or send it to you in a portable format. Under the DPDP Act you may also nominate someone to exercise these rights for you. Under GDPR you may additionally object to processing and complain to your local supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office.
Email hello@digitalplix.com and we will respond within 30 days. No charge, and no reason required.
Children
This site is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.
Security, honestly stated
The site is served over HTTPS and access to enquiries is limited to the two people who run the agency. No system is perfectly secure and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach ever affects your data we will tell you and the relevant authority within the timeframes the DPDP Act and GDPR require.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where we hold your email as a client or subscriber, tell you directly.
Please have this reviewed. This was written to describe this website accurately and in plain language, but it is not legal advice. Before you rely on it commercially — particularly for UK, EU or US clients — have a solicitor or company secretary read it against how you actually operate.
